Pengaruh Pemberian Kombinasi Jenis Pakan Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Cacing Laut (Nereis sp.)

Marine worms or Nereis sp. as high-quality feed due to their nutritional content have important beneficial values that are useful in the process of gonad maturation and spawning of shrimp and fish. Fulfillment of the need for Nereis sp. as feed is currently obtained through capture from wild populations, so that it can threaten the population and can damage its habitat as a whole. This condition requires a cultivation effort. Cultivation activities require the largest costs for feed procurement so that it will increase operational costs. Therefore, raw materials are needed that can be used as alternative feed besides commercial feed, one alternative feed raw material that can be used comes from mangrove leaf litter. The study aims to determine the effect of providing different combinations of commercial feed and mangrove leaf litter feed on the growth and survival of marine worms (Nereis sp.). The method used is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely, Treatment A: 100% mangrove leaf litter feed, B: 25% commercial feed, 75% mangrove leaf litter feed, C: 50% commercial feed, 50% mangrove leaf litter feed, D: 75% commercial feed, 25% mangrove leaf litter feed, E: 100% commercial feed. The results of this study indicate that the use of a combination of commercial feed with mangrove leaf litter can affect the growth, feed efficiency, and feed conversion of Nereis sp. but does not affect the survival of Nereis sp. Providing 75% commercial feed and 25% mangrove leaf litter (Treatment D) and 100% commercial feed (Treatment E) had the same effect on increasing the growth of Nereis sp., increasing by 0.5805 g and 0.5295 g, respectively.
